An Italian-style wedding in one of the typical locations of this magic country is the dream of many foreigners but choosing the right place and location can be challenging.
If you choose not to hire a wedding planner, you would have to look for your wedding location, paying attention to the various restrictions that each place could have. Remember to ask the right questions to the owners of the properties you are going to visit, in order to avoid the encountering of unpleasant situations or paying a deposit to a place that you wouldn’t have chosen later.
One of the most important questions to ask is “what is the plan in case of good and bad weather?” and “until what time is the music allowed outside?”. The risk is that you fall in love with a location and book it, but then you find out that you and your guests will have to celebrate inside because the music has to be turned off outside at 8pm or at 11pm.
Equally important is finding out if there are any other costs besides the rent on the location. These costs could include tensile structures in case of rain, security, lighting, cleaning services, valet service, air conditioning, etc.
Also, you should ask how much does the extra time cost, if your party goes overtime, or if the catering service is exclusive. In this case, it could cause some problems because, even if the “rent + catering” deal could seem cheaper, you won’t have the possibility of making changes to their offer. In this case, I suggest you plan a tasting before confirming the reservation.
