If you are unable to get it in Australia, you may obtain one from the Tribunale Civile in Italy. In order to do so, you need to schedule an appointment in advance and bring with you a \u201cPermesso di Soggiorno\u201d or an entry visa or a ticket which shows recent entry in Italy. You must attend your appointment with two adult witnesses and an interpreter, if nobody speaks Italian.<\/li>\n<li>Valid Australian Passport<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of the termination of your previous marriage, if you were married before. Keep in mind that you are not allowed to get married if you have ended your previous marriage within 300 days, unless you obtain a special permission from an Italian Magistrate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you are widowed, you must bring the death certificate of your previous spouse, issued by the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">ONCE IN ITALY<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>Statutory Declaration (Nulla Osta): it states whether you are single, divorced or widowed and confirms that there are no impediments to your marriage.
