Only through the Apostille foreign countries member of the 1961 Hague Convention Treaty can accept the above mentioned documents.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-79 size-medium aligncenter\" title=\"Photo credit: EBC events\" src=\"https:\/\/ebcevents.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/1058_ok-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ebcevents.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/1058_ok-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ebcevents.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/1058_ok-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ebcevents.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/1058_ok.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In case you are a <strong>Naturalized US citizen<\/strong> your naturalization certificate (which must be apostilled) will substitute your birth certificate.<\/p>\n<p>In light of the above, you must provide the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">US Passport<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Atto Notorio<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Birth Certificate (both original and translated) + Apostille on the original<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Divorce Decree or Death Certificate (original and translated) + Apostille on the original\u00a0(if applicable)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Nulla Osta or Nihil Obstat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you a US Citizen?
