Post-Wedding Brunch Guide

Destination weddings are fun and exciting for a number of reasons. One of these is that they usually last longer than traditional weddings, and what’s more fun than turning your wedding into a weekend-long celebration of your love? A morning-after brunch is the best way to show your guests a little gratitude and to wrap up the party before saying goodbye to everybody and leaving for your honeymoon.

A brunch is not a must-do for every couple, but it is a very nice way to say thank you to all your guests who have traveled miles to celebrate you and your fiancée’s love. First, your guests will be hungry after a party night spent dancing and celebrating. Second, you haven’t probably had the opportunity to greet and talk to every guest during your reception, so a brunch would be a fun way to personally thank them for attending. It will also be fun to relive all your favorite moments from the day before with your best friends and close family members.

Remember that if you decide to organize a day-after wedding brunch, do not stress too much. It doesn’t have to be elaborated, and what it is served is up to you: from a simple coffee, juice and donuts, to a more elegant buffet of foods and mimosas. They can just be a casual get-together among immediate family members and close friends and they can also be organized in free or cheap spaces like a park, a backyard or a local café.

Last but not least, remember it is your time to finally relax! Hug your family, chat with your friends and have a cup of coffee all together enjoying the last moments of your wedding weekend before everybody heads gone.
