Elegant, romantic and sophisticate. During the Milan, Barcelona and London fashion weeks, the styles that emerged the most in wedding dresses were those with volouminous skirts, decorative flowers and plenty of lace.
A new trend that appeared in the last catwalks are also capes, in tulle, lace, short or long on the arms, with feathers and beads applications. A true coming back of an accessory which is able to give lightness and movement to the bride.
Flowers continue to be an evergreen, in fact many stylists concentrated their 2019 collections on the nature and its colors. Petals are arranged on skirts, camisoles and sleeves in pastel colors from green to light pink.

Wedding Cakes
Wedding cakes are becoming real works of art. Cake designers are using patterns, motives, watercolor effects and brush strokes. Metal colors like gold and rose gold are still trending, as well as geometric and abstract designs, giving a modern look to the traditional wedding cakes.
However, the traditional white wedding cake will never go out of trend. To make it special, cake designers are adding all-white decorations, or non-traditional shapes such as hexagons, ovals or a geometric mix.
Flowers and Colors

Roses, tulips and peonies look like the chosen ones for the future brides for their bouquets and to decorate the church and the reception location.
In terms of colors, instead, pastel tones reaffirm their position. Their delicacy and lightness make them suitable for every season and style. Turtle dove and lavender will also come back as protagonists of the 2019 wedding trends.
